WSR are excited to announce plans to enter January’s Dubai 24 Hour, the showpiece race of the 24H Middle East Trophy, in collaboration with CCK Motorsport.
The joint venture aims to field a Porsche 992 Cup car in the 992 class in the international Middle Eastern event and will mark the 18-time British Touring Car Champions’ first foray into GT racing.
Seats are still available for what is anticipated to be a four-driver line-up for the event, which takes place at the Dubai Autodrome on January 16-18.
WSR have a long and illustrious history of success in international competition including victories in the Formula 3 Macau Grand Prix, Japan’s Fuji International Superprix and the FIA World Touring Car Championship.
In total nine FIA world title winners, including Formula 1 legends Ayrton Senna and Mika Hakkinen, touring car superstars Andy Priaulx and Paul Radisich, and Le Mans heroes Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish, have contributed to the WSR success story.
Interested drivers of any FIA Categorisation and commercial partners are invited to contact WSR by email on carl@wsr-racing.com for further information.
Carl Mitchell, Sporting and Operations Director, WSR: “Since announcing our plans to move into GT racing alongside our touring car programme next year, we’ve had a lot of productive conversations with drivers, commercial partners and manufacturers and have gained clarity into where our focus will lie in 2026. Going to the Dubai 24 Hour with a Porsche Cup car is an ideal way to give the team invaluable experience of running a sportscar under real racing conditions – something you can’t simulate in testing. We aim to confirm our entry by the end of the month and anticipate a strong driver line-up moving forwards.”
