Turkington puts WSR and BMW on front row at Silverstone
Colin Turkington put WSR and BMW on the front row of the grid for the penultimate round of the British Touring Car Championship in a dramatic rain-affected qualifying session at Silverstone. Points leader Jake Hill and Adam Morgan ensured that all three BMWs will start tomorrow’s opening race inside the top seven as both drivers showed strong pace in a variety of weather conditions.

Team BMW’s Colin Turkington qualified in second position for the eighth round of the 2024 British Touring Car Championship at Donington Park, in what was a very strong session for the BMW 330e M Sport as Jake Hill and Adam Morgan locked-out the fourth row. After two wet free practice sessions, qualifying was almost a complete unknown for every team, with all drivers running with slick tyres on a fairly dry and still improving circuit.

After back-to-back trips to the north, WSR and BMW return to familiar territory this weekend as the British Touring Car Championship title fight intensifies on Donington Park’s Grand Prix circuit.
