Aiden

Aiden Moffat

After finishing as runner-up in the Scottish Fiesta Championship (despite winning nine of the 10 races he started), Edinburgh-based Aiden Moffat made history in 2013 as he became the youngest driver in British Touring Car Championship history at just 16 years, 10 months and 23 days old.

While it would be later in the year at Silverstone where he scored his first points finish, the dye was cast as the Scot formed part of a new generation of touring-car racers eager to take on the establishment.

He scored the first of his 15 podium finishes on home soil at Knockhill in 2015 and the first of his five career victories at Donington Park two years later.

One of a small number of current series drivers to have won BTCC races in both front-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive cars, Aiden has secured podium results in all but one of the past 10 seasons, making him a driver to watch behind the wheel of the LKQ Euro Car Parts with WSR BMW this year.
