Daryl
Daryl De Leon
Daryl De Leon returns to the team for a second season in a row and will pilot one of the WSR designed and built BMW 330i M Sport racing cars.
The Anglo-Filipino (who was born in Ireland), who is now starting his third full-season BTCC campaign, has taken his Jack Sears Trophy title success in his stride and is now seeking to take the next step in his quest to conquer the BTCC.
After winning multiple karting titles and taking race wins in the British Karting Championship, Daryl wasted no time in graduating to cars and did so shortly after turning 16 in 2021.
He excelled in the Radical SR1 Cup, taking his first victory in his debut season plus a podium in the Radical Intercontinental Cup against the cream of European competition in the category.
Further Radical wins followed in 2023, including several that featured on guest BTCC support slots, but more significant was his surge to the British Endurance Championship title aboard a rear-wheel-drive Carrera Cup car; his first season in GT machinery.
He graduated to the BTCC for the final three rounds of the year and contested a full season in 2024, finishing third in the Jack Sears Trophy and a best overall finish of seventh.
Daryl moved to WSR for 2025 and became one of the BTCC’s breakout stars as he led a WSR one-two to win the Jack Sears Trophy title, scored his first overall race victory at the early-season Brands Hatch event and ended the year with back-to-back pole positions at Silverstone and the longer Brands Hatch GP loop.
For 2026 he’s aiming even higher as he targets regular victories and a title challenge aboard the BMW 330i M Sport.
