WSR are very pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with civil engineering and remediation specialists Cognition Land and Water ahead of the 2025 British Touring Car Championship.
Founded by ex-Formula Renault and Carerra Cup GB driver and Commonwealth Games rower Richard Hosking, Cognition Land and Water are a market-leading provider of services ranging from civil engineering through to enabling, earthworks and groundworks.
With a background in elite sport and a focus on sustainability, Cognition’s ethos aligns perfectly with those of WSR and the BTCC, which will use a 100 per cent sustainable fuel in 2025 among a number of green initiatives.
As part of the new relationship, the carbon-neutral-certified company’s branding will appear on the LKQ Euro Car Parts with WSR BMWs of Charles Rainford and Aiden Moffat.
The BTCC begins at Donington Park on April 26-27 and features a 10-round season at the UK’s best racetracks. Every race is shown live and uninterrupted on ITV channels in high definition.
Carl Mitchell, Sporting & Operations Director, WSR, said: “We’re very pleased to announce our partnership with Cognition Land and Water. They are the best in the business at what they do and are experts at planning and executing multiple tasks simultaneously, just as a racing team like WSR has to be. This, added to their commitment to sustainability and the elite sporting pedigree that runs through the business aligns perfectly with our philosophy at WSR. We look forward to representing them this year as we aim to add to our 18 championship titles.”
Richard Hosking, Founder, Cognition Land and Water, said: “It is a great honour and opportunity for us to partner with such a prestigious team as WSR for this race season. Their legacy of excellence aligns perfectly with our commitment to performance, precision, and innovation. We are also proud to be associated with LKQ, a global leader in their industry. Their dedication to sustainability and ethical business practices resonates strongly with our own values, making this partnership a natural fit. Being one of their key partners allows us to support their ambitions while strengthening our presence in the motorsport world. We are thrilled to continue our support for Charles, having first backed him two years ago in the Carrera Cup GB. After coming heartbreakingly close to winning the championship last season, he now joins WSR, teaming up with Aiden Moffat and LKQ in a BMW that has both the performance and the backing to be championship contenders. We look forward to an exciting season ahead.”
