BMW and WSR head to Scotland as BTCC visits Knockhill
BMW and WSR head North of the border this weekend as they continue their British Touring Car Championship title challenge at Knockhill, Scotland. Four wins from the past six races means BMW arrive at the Fife track at the head of the Manufacturers’ Championship, which they are aiming to win for a record 10th time.

King of Croft Colin Turkington triumphant again for WSR and BMW
Colin Turkington cemented his status as the British Touring Car Championship’s King of Croft with a magnificent victory for BMW and WSR on Sunday to enhance his title hopes in North Yorkshire. The Northern Irishman’s lights-to-flag success in the last race of the day was his third of the season, the 66th of his illustrious career and a record-extending 14th at the North-East track as the Team BMW driver moved up to third place in the Drivers’ points.
BMW and WSR lock out third row in Croft qualifying
BMW and WSR locked out the third row of the grid in an ultra-tight qualifying session as the British Touring Car Championship leapt back into action at Croft on Saturday. Title contenders Colin Turkington of Team BMW and Jake Hill of Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport qualified fifth and sixth in their BMW 330e M Sports in a session that was adversely-affected by a red flag during the closing stages.

With the British Touring Car Championship’s summer break now in the past, BMW and WSR are ready to resume the battle for the UK’s most prestigious motor racing title at Croft this weekend. Coming off the back of a magnificent treble win and podium lock-out at Oulton Park, the trip to North Yorkshire gives an opportunity for both Team BMW and Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport to add to the four wins and 14 podium finishes achieved so far in 2023.
WSR and Racing Line Designs partner to produce limited-edition BTCC artwork
WSR are pleased to announce a new partnership with renowned motorsport design studio Racing Line Designs. As part of the collaboration, Racing Line Designs will create a limited-edition bespoke piece of artwork for each of the remaining five rounds of the 2023 British Touring Car Championship, starting at Croft on July 29-30.
Treble win and podium lock-out for WSR and BMW at Oulton Park
WSR and BMW scored an incredible treble win and a podium lock-out on an intense day of racing as the British Touring Car Championship reached its halfway point at Oulton Park. Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport’s Jake Hill commandingly won the opening two races of the day in his BMW 330e M Sport while Team BMW’s Colin Turkington – who started Race One from the back of the grid – led an all WSR one-two-three in the finale.

Jake Hill qualified an excellent second on the grid at Oulton Park as WSR and BMW secured a first front-row starting spot of the 2023 British Touring Car Championship. The Kent ace put his Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport BMW 330e M Sport within two tenths of a second of pole position at the Cheshire track and credited his best qualifying spot of the year down to significant set-up changes to his BMW since the last event at Thruxton.

The majestic Oulton Park circuit in Cheshire lies in wait for BMW and WSR as the British Touring Car Championship reaches the midway point of what’s been a dramatic season this weekend. With Team BMW drivers Colin Turkington, Stephen Jelley and Adam Morgan all winners at the circuit in recent seasons and Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport’s Jake Hill a podium finisher there, an all-out attack for more trophies is guaranteed from the BMW 330e M Sport quartet.
Adam Morgan on Thruxton podium for BMW and WSR
Adam Morgan scored his second podium finish of the season at Thruxton as WSR and BMW maintained their push for the British Touring Car Championship. The Team BMW driver started the final race of the day from pole position on the partially-reversed grid and finished in a strong second place aboard his BMW 330e M Sport at the series fastest circuit.
